Our department association actively organizes a wide range of professional activities. We can enhance the scope of our professional activities with the following additional initiatives:
- Workshops and Training Sessions: Organize hands-on workshops and specialized training sessions and industry-relevant skills.
- Industry Collaboration Programs: Establish partnerships with industries to provide students with real-world exposure through internships, live projects, and collaborative research.
- Panel Discussions and Expert Talks: Host panel discussions and expert talks on trending topics in science and technology, inviting professionals from various sectors.
- Student-Led Projects and Competitions: Encourage students to undertake projects and present their findings. We can also organize competitions like hackathons, coding contests, and innovation challenges.
- Alumni Interaction Programs: Invite successful alumni to share their experiences and insights, offering mentorship and networking opportunities for current students.

IGNITE Association 2025 Valedictory Function
The IGNITE Association 2025 Valedictory Function and guest lecture were held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Centenary Centre (CC Hall) of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology by the Department of Science and Humanities and Career Planning & Guidance Cell. A guest lecture was given by Mr. Arun C., an architect associate at Telestra.
